Media Center PCs are expected to gain favor rapidly among consumers who want to store, share and enjoy photographs, music, home video and recorded TV as well as perform traditional computing tasksall in one sleek and easy-to-use place. PC-Doctor for Media Center reduces unnecessary warranty returns, which frustrate consumers and are expensive for manufacturers, said Aki Korhonen, President of PC-Doctor. If a problem is discovered, the PC-Doctor for Media Center software generates a list of codes that the consumer can give to manufacturers to remedy problems more quickly.

The tests run by PC-Doctor for Media Center mirror those that are run on the manufacturing floor by PC-Doctor Factory software that reduces unnecessary warranty returns and out-of-box failures by as much as 50 percent.
